Daemusinem: Diabolical carnage
07/07/09 || Kampfar
This is the first and last time I write Daemusinem in this here, most likely, sorry excuse of a review. Fuck you guys, from now on I’ll refer to them as Dassmus. Not very funny you think, but on my splendid dialect it translates to toilet-cunt. Hilarious, I know, but it still can’t compete with the crap moniker I’ll never evah spell out again. Ya down, homie?
The music, on the other hand, isn’t anything the dudes responsible should be shot in the face for. No medals, not even ones made in cast-metal, is to be awarded by the (mental) institution known as Kampfar when speaking “Diabolical carnage”, nah ah, but the very master of nothing at all is, unsurprisingly enough, very able to hear that them here idiots aren’t the biggest imbeciles since radical lefties foaming over with self-righteousness. Mow ‘em down, shut ‘em up, for I need to tell you that the mostly blast-ridden death to be heard on “DC” is performed in a convincing manner, but only technically speaking, creativity namely not present at all.
OK skills, a ditto production, and a bunch of almost good riffs at times backed up by nice blasting is not the stuff anyones dreams are made of. Still, if them here Italians get a proper name and steal some better riffs they could very well end up releasing a satisfying slab of death spiced with a bit of black in the future. Shit, I nearly forgot to mention that D.O.C, the dude on vocals, is the best performer on this here disc.
5,5 out of 10.
